Ray Durham
Ray Durham is an Attorney at the National Center for Youth Law. Ray works on the Justice and Equity and Legal Advocacy teams doing work that focuses on the criminalization of poverty, the school-to-prison pipeline, and provision of services for students with disabilities in K-12 settings.
Ray recently graduated from Berkeley Law School where he was involved in building community inside the school while advocating for underserved, Black, Brown, and poor folks outside of school. At Berkeley, Ray served as a representative and co-president of the student body, a solicitations and submissions editor on the Berkeley Journal of African-American Law and Policy, an articles editor on the California Law Review, a representative and public interest chair for the Law Students of African Descent, a student advocate for the Post-Conviction Advocacy Project, and a clinical student in Berkeley's Policy Advocacy Clinic and the Death Penalty Clinic.
Outside of working hours, you can find Ray traveling to different countries, at a jazz club, art museum, or hanging out with his friends and family.
