JusticeEd: Year Two Progress Update

Since 2018, NCYL’s JusticeEd Initiative in Santa Clara County has provided innovative, individualized education case management and coaching to probation-involved students and their caregivers to support academic success. 

This summary of an independent evaluation of the program demonstrates JusticeEd students improved credit attainment by 10 percent year over year and that they experienced:

• Social-emotional growth,
• Decreases in-school suspensions,
• And no expulsion recommendations during the period of program participation.
